Because yoga and Pilates were designed with goals much different than that of
height increase in mind, there is not a lot of documentation that explains their
height-increasing benefits. More than anything else, this is because most
practitioners of both kinds of exercise do not have growing taller in mind when
they perform the exercises.
So its safe to say that simply joining a yoga
or Pilates class will not help you grow taller. However, there are some
practitioners from both fields that have attested to the fact that both have
given them extra inches, though this was not by design, only by
coincidence.
The best way to use both yoga and Pilates is not to immerse
yourself in either specific discipline but to take the most advantageous
exercises from each of them, combine them with other exercises known to increase
height, and use them carefully and with diligence to achieve your height
goals.
This is relatively easy to do since there really are only a
handful of exercises from both yoga and Pilates that will help you increase
height, though both of them will help you be healthier, more limber, and help
tone your muscles - all of which will certainly help you in a non-direct
manner.
When you combine these exercises with proper nutrition and - just
as importantly - specific stretching exercises, cardiovascular exercises, and
strength training exercises with the end goal in mind of increasing your height,
you may be amazed at the results that you can get in just a short amount of
time.
